transmission filter and fluid change done right
I drive a 2024 Chevy 2500HD with the 10-speed Allison transmission and pull a 40' RV trailer quite a bit. The truck has 52K miles and was time for a fluid and filter change. I grew up at my Dad's Exxon service station in Houston and knew this was not a shade-tree mechanic job - and I did not want a leak in my driveway anytime soon. I took my truck to the professionals at Genuine Automotive and Diesel (although my truck is not diesel) who completed the service quickly and at a reasonable price. The best part was the free loaner car with probably the coldest AC I have ever experienced. When I picked up the truck, they stayed open after their normal closing time for me (your milage may vary) and my truck was as clean as when I dropped it off. Although unassuming from the front, this shop is well run and HUGE! Their service area looks like most modern dealership service departments with over a dozen large bays for all types of vehicles. If you have service needs for your vehicle, I suggest you give Genuine a call!
