Avoid service at this location.
I have a Kia Sorrento X-Line SX-Prestige, which I paid for in full at time of purchase, no note. It now has just over 8000 miles, and it began to have weird symptoms when I started it to go to the store. I hooked up my ODB-II scanner and copied the codes and noted the check engine light came on. I did not clear the codes, had it towed to Greenway Kia East (on a Saturday), after speaking with their service department and getting an appointment for Monday morning (mid-morning). I was contacted on Monday and told I would be contacted regarding my vehicle by 3 or 4 in the afternoon. I made sure to mention to my service coordinator (Oscar) that if my car could not be finished that day, I would need a loaner as I had medical appointments the following morning. Just after 4 pm I reached out as I had not heard anything. He replied promptly and said that the spark plug and coil for a misfiring cylinder had been "swapped out," and that they had driven it 8 miles (odometer later showed it was 6, but no big deal) and that it had no more issues. I said great, is it ready to pick up? He then stated that he would not more by noon the next day. ?? I was confused, but immediately reminded him that I would need a loaner as I had to have a vehicle in the morning. No response. For the next 40 minutes, I sent more urgent and frantic texts asking what was going on? Was i going to be able to get the loaner? I am a disabled veteran, and I cannot easily reschedule medical appointments (anyone who has gone to the VA knows how long it takes to get into see specialists), and was genuinely concerned I would have neither my car or a loaner. It felt like they were intentionally delaying communicating with me so that they could say "we close at 6 (that is what Oscar had told me that morning), so it is too late for you to get a loaner. I decided I could no longer wait after placing a call to Gina Carpio (the service manager), and getting nothing but voicemail (I still have never gotten the requested call back... 🤔), so I had my wife drive her car to the dealer so we could get there with time to either get a loaner or pick up my car. Oscar texted me back (finally!) just before we pulled in. I went in and asked for him, and he said he was "at lunch" it was now 5:00 and he leaves at 6:00. Assuming that is true, this place needs to treat it's employees better.. making someone take their lunch that late into an 8 hour shift seems incredibly unfair (I mean .. he must have been at lunch, right? 🤔). He then began to gaslight me saying that he had sent me a message saying that they needed to open an issue with Kia Engineering because an accessory battery under the console was bad and needed replaced, and that it was "$1700.00"!! I pulled out my phone with the text thread open and said no you didn't, he assured me he had, and when I said show me, he finally said "it must not have sent." I asked for my car, and when he eventually brought me my keys (with ZERO PAPERWORK), I asked for a copy of the part number that needed replaced, and paperwork showing what had been done to my vehicle. He was incredibly against this idea, to the point that it seemed weird. After I made it clear I was not leaving without something showing that my car had been worked on by these people, he reluctantly, eventually gave me a copy of the work order from my car. It bothered me so much that he was so dead set against me getting that paper that when I got home, I began to really examine it carefully. Not 100% sure that this is why, but when I saw that my initials and signature had both been forged on the work order, it made a little more sense. I have the paperwork to prove this claim (thank to refusing to leave with out!), so feel free to challenge my assertion if you wish. I have a VERY UNIQUE signature having lost 1/2 of my dominant hand (which I still write with), so there truly is no doubt that the signature is not mine.

I do not recommend going here for anything, tbh.
