Not my first time there, but most definitely my last.
While I was packing up and moving my entire house, the fuel pump went out on my old 4Runner and I simply didn't have the time to replace it myself. So I paid H & R $75 to tow it around 5 or 6 blocks down the road to their shop where they said they could have the fuel pump replaced in only a few days. But a couple of days later, I received a call from an employee at the shop telling me that the shop's owner decided that he didn't feel like replacing it after all, and that it would need to be towed elsewhere to have the work done. So, another $125 later, they towed it to another shop down the road to have the fuel pump replaced by them instead. I've been in H & R a few times before over the years, and I've liked the people who work there, and the work which they have performed for me in the past. But losing time and money with the owner just changing his mind about the fuel pump work while I was in the middle of moving an entire household halfway across the state, with no time or money to spare to get it done, ended up costing me right around $10,000 in the end because of the delay of those days, in addition to the $200 I paid to have it transported down the street for absolutely nothing. I wish H & R all the best in the future, but this experience guarantees that I myself won't ever use their services, or recommend them to anyone else ever again.

They know what they’re doing
I brought my pick up in to have the heater core replaced. They checked it out and found out it wasn’t the heater core. It was just some loose hose fittings. The heater didn’t work right and they found multiple Codes on the computer that was stopping it from working right.

Nice guys, easy fix
I appreciate Jim being upfront with me about both my repair (easy, cheap), and the needed repair on my husband's vehicle (complex, probably expensive). Tow guy was kind and knowledgeable, my car was done in less than a day.

emergency repair
My car started shaking and not accelerating smoothly. Drove immediately to H&R and explained the problem. It took a little while to get parts (1996 RAV 4) but they got to work on it as quickly as possible (they had other jobs already scheduled ahead of me) and it's working great again. I always trust that H&R will do a good job.

Jumped the car but didn't diagnose the issue
They were good about coming out a jumping my car, but neglected to test the battery. The next day my car died again and they came out and I had to ask them to test it, but it didn't have enough charge to test it and they had me go to the auto store. Ultimately ended up at the auto repair shop on day 3 of this, wish they had tested the battery or sent me to get it checked elsewhere on day one.
