Service department Is unqualified and unprofessional
One star is generous. I brought my car in for 2 recalls and A/C warranty work. After a month of waiting for parts, I got my car back. My service advisor later let me know that the full engine had come out of my car to replace the cars wiring harness, and my complete dash had been removed as well, for the A/C work. A day or two later I realized there were parts on my car that were broken, however not broken before the service. I called numerous times over the course of two weeks, I was told I would be able to talk to the service manager however, he was unavailable and would not return my phone call. In addition to the parts broken, one and a half weeks to two weeks after picking my car up due to the lack of people that seat in my back seat I had not realized my car had been flooding. After countless calls to the services department, I was finally able to reach the parts manager Brian (still not Bobby the service manager), he reviewed all of the work done on my car and after back-and-forth communication we came to an agreement that they would send a valet service to pick my car up and fix the flooding in my back seat. After receiving my car back, at the time of drop off I thoroughly looked over my car and quickly came to the realization that my back seat floorboard was still completely submerged in water (enough to fill half a gallon bucket) and I demonstrated this to Chase the valet attendant. I have stayed in contacted with Chase who is communicating to Bobby on my behalf (still have not spoken to the service manager I can only assume he does not want to talk to me). Not to mention my coworker owns a Genesis and is having the same issues as me, with the back seat floorboard flooding after having his car serviced at this dealership. Corporate Genesis quickly became involved, especially when my car started to throw every code on the dash, the car throws itself in park while in motion, it loses power steering, as well as the gas pedal will not accelerate, and then the car shuts off once at a complete stop, to fix it you turn the car off and on again (not a battery issue). Mind you this happens in the middle of traffic; it is nerve racking and not to mention extremely dangerous to my life and anyone around me. This happened 3 times in one 1hour drive home (not the first time experiencing this), the third time the car broke down it would no longer turn over. The car was towed 2 hours later, from the side of a bridge. I sent corporate video proof of the 3 instances that happened that night, I was later the next day called to be told that after speaking to the dealership they state my car is out of warranty and they cannot help me, my car had around 76,000 miles on it when I initially brought it in 2 months prier, it wasn't in warranty then, why is it an issue now. I Strongly believe this is the result of the replacement of my cars full wiring harness, and lack of knowledge from the mechanics. The lack of professionalism, and lack of care is astonishing. Hampton Genesis this is honestly disturbing.
