I'll start out by saying "some new girl" has a name, it's Danielle, I heard her introduce herself when your son dropped the car off and then again when you came in, and multiple times during your correspondence, she is extremely pleasant and has nothing to do with pricing, our customers love her. The diagnostic fee has always been in effect at Holiday, even Paul charged this fee, its only utilized if the customer chooses to not fix their vehicle to reimburse the technician for their time spent diagnosing the vehicle, it is waived on simple conclusions. You will see on your invoice its not on there, so no you weren't charged this. Our prices are extremely competitive in the industry, we aren't the cheapest, but definitely not the most expensive, your repair was a bit more challenging as the regulator had been operated several time bending the mounting point, which had to be repaired before the new part was installed, at no extra cost to you. You always have the option to decline repairs and discus the diagnostic fees, you're under no obligation to repair your car with us. Sorry to hear you wont be coming back and only wish you the best in the future.
