Quick, thorough service
Dealt directly with Bob, the owner. I was ready to settle for a battery check (as the more crucial service item), but since I had called no more than 10 minutes earlier also asking about an oil change, on my arrival he’d made that possible too. Other (fairly minor) issues that we’d either let slide or were entirely unaware of, his crew pointed out - too high tire pressure, for example - and were also able to quickly resolve. When I got into the car at its prompt completion, the blinking “brakes” dash indicator was what told me the car was even running, much quieter than it has been since we’d bought it used a couple years earlier.
I was impressed with the knowledge and care he & his crew displayed while I waited (quite worth 4/5 stars), but I’m now truly astonished how great the car is running, so bumping it to 5 stars is an easy lift. While we have a regular mechanic we’ve used for 25 years (who couldn’t fit in the oil change today), I’ll have no qualms about using this as a highly recommended back up.
