Well, as with any 'experienced' (older) vehicle with A LOT of miles (nearly 300K), unexpected things will happen . . . 🤷♀️
I was traveling to Claremore & my battery light came on. Gave me cause for pause, but knowing I had my battery replaced only 1-year ago, I continued down the road thinking I'd go into the shop after finishing in Claremore.
About 40 minutes further down the road, multiple codes began appearing on my dashboard, then NO power at all, & coasting at highway speed. Turned on the hazard lights & found a safe place to roll into & park.
Called for Roadside Assistance. Reached out to Jamie Adam & chatted about the situation. He said it was probably a failed alternator. He promptly ordered the part after our call. My vehicle was towed in arriving after office hours.
Jamie was able to squeeze my emergency service request into the already full schedule & Ethan completed the work by installing a new alternator in the morning after my vehicle arrived.
Gratefully, less than 24 hours after my vehicle arrived at Ian's Auto Service, it was fully functional again & I was back on the road! 🎉
