During a smog inspection, California regulations require us to identify and disclose any issues that would cause a vehicle to fail the smog test, and we are not permitted to complete the certification until those items are corrected.
In this case, the required corrections were completed, after which the vehicle was able to pass smog. There is never any obligation to have repairs performed at our facility, and customers are always free to choose where the work is done.
