I can get my car's safety inspection done for free at the dealership I bought it from (Ted Britt) but I still choose to take all our vehicles to J & L for all inspections (even though I have to pay) simply because I trust them. On my first visit I ever made to this shop several years ago, John gave me a quote for some work on my daughter's truck. Later that day, he called me back and said he could actually do it a little cheaper than the original quote because he found the part for a cheaper price. He could have bought the cheaper part and still charged me the original price I agreed to but he didn't...he called to "ok" the change on the repair and told me about the lower price. He didn't have to do that and could have pocketed the extra $$ but he didn't...he actually passed it on to me. That sold me on his honesty and now I only take my vehicles to his shop.
