Dear Tuan
We take feedback seriously, but this review contains several inaccuracies that need to be clarified for the record.
You brought your vehicle in for an oil leak inspection, which is a paid diagnostic service. The inspection fee was $75, not hidden or added afterward. As with all customers, you were asked to review and sign the authorization before the inspection was performed. Signing an authorization confirms approval of the inspection; it is not possible for us to perform this service without customer consent.
It is also important to note that this was not the first time oil leaks were identified on your vehicle. You were advised in prior visits—years ago—of existing oil leaks and recommended repairs. When you returned recently, those same issues had progressed, and additional items were found, which understandably resulted in a higher estimate. No work was performed beyond the inspection itself.
After your review was posted, I personally reached out to you to better understand your concerns. Your response, in writing, stated that you would only speak with us if the $75 inspection fee was refunded. Conditioning communication or feedback on a refund is not a reasonable or professional way to resolve concerns, especially when the inspection was properly performed and authorized.
We do not “rip people off,” and we stand behind our diagnostics, our transparency, and our long-standing reputation in the community. We welcome constructive dialogue and are glad to explain our recommendations, but we do not reverse valid charges or engage in discussions conditioned on refunds once an authorized diagnostic has been performed.
That said, I remain available to speak with you directly should you wish to have a constructive conversation.
