Love my Genesis, but their service department is highway robbery
Had my G80 in for passenger door part that fell off and trunk lock replaced. $650. The entire door mechanism can be bought for $110. Charged me for a part $80, $50 labor(took tech less than 10 minutes), then an additional $100 to paint it. It’s only 2 1/2 inches long. Rear trunk mechanism was $220, labor 125. Almost $350 for a trunk mechanism. I would suggest staying far away from this service department. My mistake, didn’t get an estimate first. Love the car, won’t be back here for service.
