Terrible
I took my vehicle in to Joyce Automotive to check electrical on a few components. After three days, two times in the office and three phone calls The work that was asked and what was performed was not correct. Over the phone I asked to speak with a manager or the owner and I would always be placed on hold and then I would always get some excuse about my inquiry and why I cannot speak to a manager. Within 30 minutes of the last phone call I receive a text that I will be charged thirty-two dollars a day storage fee for everyday payment is not received. I went into the office within an hour of that text to try to get clarification on what exactly they did for my vehicle. Again, I was denied the ability to speak to a manager or owner. At this point I wanted to just be done with this whole situation so I decided pay and get my car, but first I had to literally beg to get a line item work order of work done, at this point the lady up front rushed into the back to speak with the owner and they rushed and put together a list of things to try to say they performed on my vehicle. Again, I was fed up and wanted to leave and move on with my day. After paying, they gave me the keys and I decided before getting into my vehicle I would do a look over the vehicle just in case. Unfortunately, it was a good idea to do so, they broke the control panel for my seat controls for the driver seat. I popped the hood to just look inside and make sure everything looks ok. My reservoir for coolant was bone dry and my oil was seventy five percent empty. One of the line items on the work performed was “checked fluid levels”. I change my own oil and keep track of my fluids and can say I know that the levels good before bringing it into Joyce. I went inside to discuss what I found and was told to leave. I had to call the police and file a report about my broken property and with police presence the owner finally talked to me. He denied that he did any wrong doing and said my techs know what they’re doing and would never break anything or leave fluids like I found it. I noticed the owner snuck out back and I decided to go to my vehicle and sure enough the owner and the tech was at my car and the owner knowing I was standing there ask the tech about the levels and the tech said he never got the ok from the office to fill the fluids to release the vehicle. The owner was essentially a bully but said so he doesn’t have a liability he said he had to fill the oil and coolant reluctantly. He made me wait for two hours outside in the sun standing my by vehicle for him to during that time try to fill it with the wrong oil and wrong coolant. I after confirming finally they had the right fluids I was finally able to move on with my day.
