I contacted the shop to have my vehicle repaired. It would not start. The shop is run by a husband and wife. Initially I spoke to the husband who offered pick up and drop off service. I received my car in worse shape than it was. Car will no longer start at all unless it is jumped. My price estimate for front brake pads and a starter was $427. It ended up being $932 for a starter and brake pads and rotors on the rear. ( I only requested a starter and front brake pads in addition to the original problem which was an electrical problem). When dropping my car off the wife stated that on the way back my left blinker went out. They left me with not even enough gas to drive across the street to put gas. My tvs and ac now turn on and off even when the car is off with the alarm set. Still will not start as there is a battery draw and has to be jumped daily. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau and their response was accusing ME of drug use and that I threatened to shoot someone. These people are CRAZY! I am now in the process of filing both a criminal and civil case. Why would I request brakes on a car that will not start? The recept given to me only includes the starter brake pads and rotors with no mention of electrical issues but I have texts from the wife where she indicates her mechanic was in the process of rewiring my vehicle. In their response they also indicated they only offered me pick up/drop off as a favor. For almost $1000 I was told the electrical problem would be addressed and was told multiple times by husband and wife that it was fixed. These people have bigger problems than just their negligence at their place of business. Crazy!!!
