Before the upgrade, the Spyder handled decently, but it always felt a little soft and disconnected, especially when riding two-up with a full load of gear. We would bottom out on bumps and scrape the front-end on driveways and intersections. After installing the Arachnid springs, the entire bike feels dramatically more planted and composed, no matter the road condition. Whether it’s bumps, dips, or tight sweepers, this spring kit soaks it all up and keeps the Spyder tracking like it's on rails.
And let me just say this: the Harley guys I ride with can’t keep up with me in the twisties anymore. They’re scraping parts while I’m carving corners like I’m on a sport tourer. The confidence this upgrade gives in spirited riding is just unreal.
I can’t recommend this product enough. Dave Kerr knocked it out of the park with this spring kit. His customer service is top-notch—from answering my questions before purchase to following up after the install, his communication was absolutely amazing. You can tell he really stands behind his product and takes pride in what he offers to the Spyder community.
If you're on the fence, don’t be. Just get the Arachnid Spring Kit. Your Spyder—and your passenger—will thank you.
