I wasn’t going to say anything, but seeing as you asked, here’s what happened. I have been a long time customer and my son needed to get an alignment on his truck and I referred him to you. When he called, he was quoted around $400. After he dropped off the truck, he was later told that the alignment could not be completed because the swaybar had been removed and the tire rods needed to be replaced before the alignment could be done. He was told it would be $250 for the visit and another $350 if he corrected the issues and brought it back for the alignment. Although the reason as to why it could not be completed is understandable and I completely believe you should get paid for your work, my son is upset because he was not told about any inspection charge.
He left feeling very disappointed
because he brought it in for an alignment and doesn’t understand why he would have to pay if the alignment could not be done.
