Last Minute Inspection
I stopped in this morning without an appointment noticing that my inspection sticker was about to expire tomorrow. I thought maybe I would have an appointment set up for early next week but luckily for me he took me in right away. I mentioned to him that after my last inspection they told me I would probably need rear brakes the next time and I was expecting to have that done. As it turns out it was not necessary and I was not sold brakes that I didn't need. That's the way to run a business. I'll be back.

State inspection
Needed the state inspection sticker. Was able to book next day appointment. Great Customer Service. Received a text message with a link to the results of the entire inspection, including videos and pictures. Very reasonable pricing. Great experience.

Assessment of a CARMAX car.
In the past month my daughter has been looking to buy her first car. We’ve had good luck in the past buying a used Corolla and a Kia Sorento from CARMAX. Since this is her first car I wanted to make sure it was safe and deemed reliable. My daughter had her sights on a RAV4 she found. L&S found a number of things wrong and recommended we continue looking. The report they created detailed the issues very clearly so we continued looking. We have since found a newer RAV4 that my daughter loves but again I had L&S to evaluate it for major issues. They found the brakes were 1 mm away from being able to pass inspection - estimated replacement cost >$500 to replace. CARMAX is evaluating whether they are going to address it. Regardless what they decide I’m thankful for the thorough job L&S did in documenting the evaluation so we have something to discuss with CARMAX.
