Check engine quote
Took my 2017 hyndai tucson with check engine light on friday 4/24 /2026. They quote me $829 dollars to change spark plugs and coil pack. Which i found that to be a little pricey but I need the car so went along with it. Tuesday morning I get a call from service manger telling me the car was turning on but didn't have power.so I needed a catalytic converter. The new price was $4219 dollars. Meanwhile this car still under warranty was 3 years or 106,000 miles. I only have 2 years and 101,000 miles on it. They tell me its not covered under the warranty. Drive train warranty doesn't cover engines. So me and the wife scrape up the money and pay. I pick it up Wednesday which in deed runs like like it should. I look under the car the catalytic converter new. I open the engine compartment remove the engine cover and to my eyes the coil pack doesn't look new. It's still the same old with dust and old looking coil pack. Im totally so pissed at this time. I will never take my car back to lakeland Hyundai on 1500 memorial blvd again.
