Pleasantly surprised.
2004 F250 6.0. Diesels are expensive but I use mine. Engine developed hard start and rough idle. Had to be towed.
Mech checked codes and checked fuel filter I had recently changed. Turns out rubber seal on top filter was too thick and not seating properly. Sucking air into fuel. Seal replaced and truck running great again. No codes.
