Honest opinion
This is the worst body shop; the sign outside should say 'Aladdin and the 40 Thieves' because it’s absolute highway robbery. They won't provide an estimate until they disassemble your car, and if you decide not to use them, they charge a 'disassembly fee' plus storage—I was charged around $3,500 just for taking apart the liftgate.
I had previously received three outside estimates to replace the liftgate, with the highest being $3,760. However, I fell for their talk about OEM parts and other nonsense, assuming their price would only be slightly higher. I was wrong. They eventually called with a quote of $13,000 to fix a liftgate with just a couple of dents on the body and door. At that point, you're stuck: you either leave the car and fight the insurance company to pay, or take the car and lose $3,500. After an insurance adjuster intervened, they dropped the price to $8,500 by using aftermarket parts, but I still ended up paying $1,400 out of pocket. Don’t go there unless you liked to be scr….d

We’re sorry to hear you feel this way and would like to clarify a few important details for accuracy.

As an OEM-certified repair facility, we begin every repair by writing for new OEM parts and manufacturer-required procedures to ensure the vehicle is restored safely and properly. Because insurance companies only write for visible damage, disassembly is necessary to create a complete and accurate repair plan.

After reviewing the estimate that included new OEM parts, you chose to decline new OEM parts due to the cost and requested recycled OEM parts instead. We updated the repair plan per your request, and the insurance company also approved recycled parts. Being a Toyota Certified repair facility we DO NOT use aftermarket parts.

At no time were you told there would be a $3,500 storage charge.

We understand repairs and insurance claims can be frustrating, and our goal is always to provide safe, transparent, and properly documented repairs. If you would like to discuss your concerns further, we are happy to speak with you directly.
