I was accused of taking keys that were left in my car by their technicians. Even the general manager was rude telling me that the keys ended up in my car and what did I want him to do .He told me that the keys were not put in my car by the technician as if he was there. When I asked him if there was any above him that I could speak with ,he told me no and hung up the phone.The manager even told police that I was going back to the place of business to break in . The keys had a air tag on them also. The manager even came by my home telling my husband that the place of business left something in my car but I had left my home to go take car of business. I had spoken with manager on the phone prior to leaving my home to take care of business and was asked if I had key on my key ring. I check and did not. Still not knowing the keys were left in my car. When the police dispatch called about the keys again on my way to Port Arthur I look inside the car but the keys that I seen I thought they were for my cousin whom I had just dropped off in vinton so I paid them no mind. When I pick up the keys out of the cup holder just to check . I told dispatch that then I realized that the keys were the ones the manager had describe to me . I informed police once I returned to town in several hour I would bring them to the station. The manager had called police multiple time because she was tracking my movements with the air tag. I was taking care of a patient doing home dialysis when dispatch called to see if they could come get the keys in which I agreed. Two police vehicle came inquiring . Officer McDonald got out of his care stating “ Why wouldn’t you make it your priority to return someone property that you took”. I told him do not be making assumptions because I didn’t take any thing and my priority is my patient.He state yes I am making assumptions and left for a call on fm1130. Office Coward spoke with us about the situation. He stated “she told us you all were at the place of business trying to break in but now we know you were here (the address where I was taking care of a patient )and maybe the officer is upset because every time she called with your location from the air tag he had to talk to her. I then called and spoke with Captain Keith Longlois about his officer unprofessional behavior.Just be careful and use another place of business because they tried to turn their mistake into a accusation if theft. Even upper management ( general manager was rude and unprofessional) . I have no need or desire to take anything that does not belong to me. There are still hard working honest people and that includes my husband and myself
