Over 5000 in costs, 7 weeks to repair - still the same problems
One excuse after another. Poor communication, no pre-approval or estimates provided. Ricardo is rude and unprofessional. AND THERE WAS OVER 3000 miles more on the odometer when I picked it up. WTF!
Nerses A., Owner from Nono's Auto Shop responded on 07/13/2026 07:18 PM

Hello Christine,

I understand that you’re frustrated, and I’d like to clarify the details regarding your recent service.

According to our records, the last time your vehicle was serviced at Nono’s Auto was on December 15, 2025, when the mileage was 48,159 miles. During your recent visit, you stated that the mileage shown was incorrect. Based on the mileage history, that would mean your vehicle had not been driven since December, which does not align with the service history.

Your vehicle was brought to us because it was undrivable and required significant repairs, including a fuel tank replacement, water pump replacement, and smog inspection. Some of the required parts were special-order items, which resulted in additional wait time before repairs could be completed. During that time, the vehicle remained parked and could not be driven. We have photos and video documentation showing that the vehicle remained stationary while awaiting the parts, and it was towed between our facilities as needed because it was not operable.

To help minimize the inconvenience, the owner provided you with a complimentary loaner vehicle while your car was being repaired.

Before leaving our shop after the repairs were completed, you informed us that your air conditioning was not working. Although the A/C issue was unrelated to the original repairs, we addressed it immediately as a courtesy at no charge. The repair included replacing the A/C valve and recharging the system, a service valued at approximately $250, which we did not charge you for.

We also explained that if you experienced any concerns after the repair, you could bring the vehicle back under our warranty. By law, repair facilities are given the opportunity to inspect and correct any warrantable issues, and we remain committed to standing behind our work.

Although we believe the repairs were completed properly, we value our customers and would like to resolve this matter amicably. As a gesture of goodwill, we are willing to offer you a $900 refund to help bring this matter to a fair resolution.

We take great pride in the quality of our workmanship and in treating every customer fairly. While we understand your frustration, we respectfully ask that any statements made about your experience accurately reflect the facts. Our goal has always been to provide honest, quality service and to resolve any concerns professionally.

If you would like to discuss this matter further, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,
Nono’s Auto
