Old Fashion Service came highly recommended by a friend whose grand daughter's VW was repaired there.
I got an estimate from Max for the front suspension repair on my 2016 Forester with 73,000 miles.
The dealer that I bought it from, new, had done all of the service and repairs since I bought it from them. They serviced and inspected it a week before I took the car to Max, to determine where the frontend noise was coming from.
On the rack they found a worn-out control arm, ball joint and suspension stabilizer bar link.
I turned the car in Monday morning at 9:00 am and it was repaired by 3:00pm and it actually cost less than the estimate!
It feels like I'm driving a new 9 year old car. Thanks Max!

I finally found my lifelong mechanic.
Excellent experience from the beginning to the end of the repairs. To start with they answer the phone which is a great beginning. The repairs were prompt and they did not do more work than what was called for. The staff was courteous, explained the work performed and answered my questions. Finally a mechanic that is honest, doesn’t gouge you by overcharging others so often do or performing needless work, giving ridiculous maintenance (selling snake oil) recommendations and has integrity. I’m so relieved to have found this level of service and know where to go in the future for all my car needs.

Replaced break pads
I took my car in to get the front break pads replaced. Great service. I dropped my car off just before they closed on a Monday evening, and it was ready to be picked up the next day, not even 24 hours later. They kept me updated on things they saw, and made sure I was okay with additional repairs/maintenance.

I have become a dedicated customer because of the car service and repair conversation that you can have when dropping your car off and then when you pick it up. No up selling, adding of unnecessary service and expense, just open talk about finding the problem, fixing it, staying in touch and letting me know how much to fix it!
