Careless work, ignored diagnostic requests, and left the job unfinished.
I brought my 2022 Mazda 3 here for a warranty alternator replacement. When dropping the vehicle off, I explicitly requested that they diagnose and address the dashboard warning lights and all electrical issues that resulted from the alternator failure.Instead of doing a thorough job, they rushed to swap the alternator, completely ignored my electrical diagnostic requests, and falsely reported to my warranty company that the vehicle was 100% repaired and all issues were resolved. Because they prematurely closed out the warranty claim without actually completing the work, they locked my warranty profile. When the electrical issues immediately persisted, I had to take the car to a certified Mazda dealership. The dealership quickly discovered that Precision Automotive missed a blown fuse directly related to the charging system failure. Because Precision falsely reported the job as complete, the warranty company refused to cover the dealership’s diagnostic costs, forcing me to pay out of pocket to finish the job Precision was supposed to do.They will take the big payout from your warranty company but cut corners on the actual service and leave your car unfinished. Avoid this shop if you want honest, complete repairs.
