They ruined my engine!

They Ruined My Engine – I Deserve a Replacement!
My mechanic of 19 years retired. I was looking for and wanted to support a black owned business.

So,I brought my 2016 Range Rover Sport to this shop because the owner claimed to have the best Range Rover mechanic in the DMV. This was my second visit (nothing related to the engine) and I truly trusted them but it turned into one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.
Shortly after picking up my Range Rover, it completely shut off. I called right away and they came to get it and took it back to their shop. From that point on the communication was terrible “they knew they destroyed my engine and couldn’t fix it”. My husband and I had to keep calling just to find out what was happening. Eventually they admitted they couldn’t figure out what was wrong. “But remember the owner stated he had the best Range Rover mechanic in the DMV.”
I ended up towing my vehicle to the Range Rover dealership and I was shocked when the technician told me the engine was completely dry, no oil at all NO nothing! The engine was destroyed. I still owe payments on this vehicle and now I’m left with a huge expense that could have been avoided.
I loved my Range Rover Sport and I trusted this shop with it. Now it’s sitting with a blown engine because of their negligence! I expect them to take full responsibility and pay for a replacement engine.
Do not take your vehicle here they do not stand behind their work and their lack of care has cost me dearly.
