I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this shop. I believe I was overcharged for the service provided, and to make matters worse, they denied responsibility for damage to my $8,000 paint protection film (PPF).
I brought my 2022 Cayenne S in for a parking brake adjustment. The service advisor quoted a diagnostic fee of approximately $250 and mentioned that the total cost would typically range between $300 and $500. However, I was shocked when I received a bill for around $650. The itemized receipt showed a $250 diagnostic fee and $400 for labor plus tax. In my 20 years of dealing with both independent shops and dealerships, I’ve never been charged separately for diagnosis and labor when I choose to proceed with the service—typically, the diagnostic fee is applied toward the final cost of labor.
For context, Porsche Westwood charges $820 for rear pads and rotors, and $400 for labor—a much more extensive service for nearly the same price.
