Over the next 3 months, I was repeatedly told my bike would be ready shortly. I finally received it in March 2026. When I picked it up, I was cleared to drive it home, but the battery was completely dead. Upon charging it and taking a test ride, I discovered that neither brake was responsive. While the brakes were not part of the work done, it was concerning that this was not caught or flagged before I left.
The owner/lead mechanic was a nice lady who seemed to be trying her best with a huge workload. I do admire her attempt to engage in the niche work that my bike required and for this I’m grateful. I will admit the cosmetic damage repaired came out great—just not enough to justify the complications faced.
Due to the lack of clear communication, missed timelines, and safety oversights, I cannot recommend Richie’s and will not be returning.
