For the headlights not working, they said I had a burned out wire and would have to purchase whole front headlight piece . Quote was $1,500!!!
The same mechanic of a friend changed both headlight bulbs without a problem. No wire was defective or burned out he said. Charge was $60.
Today, 5/24 I went again to Rick Case, Davie service for a problem with my daughter's car. I saw Joel Arango and explained to him why I hadn't been back and what the mechanic told me. He was extremely rude and said, and I quote, "Well, if you don't trust us, then go someplace else. Go to that mechanic." He said it with an attitude and very rudely several times. Am I suppose to trust someone who quotes me $1,500 to fix a problem that a general mechanic fixed for $60, and charges me $350.00 for supposed freon didn't last two blocks from the lot?
I also spoke to the service manager, Mark Perry. What a rude, disrespectful, ill-mannered man. He wouldn't even let me finish a sentence before he began speaking very aggresively and threatened to kick me out of his office. How Rick Case can have someone like this in a managerial position is beyond me. "I'm sorry for what is going on. Let's try to make it right and see how we can fix this ," would have been suffice. Instead I was treated rudely and I was disrespected and robbed $350.00. SHAME ON YOU RICK CASE HYUNDAI. YOU CAN DO BETTER. I WILL NEVER BUY A CAR FROM YOU OR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO DO SO.
