Sent me away thinking my oil was changed and now my truck is severely damaged .
Had power steering job done asked him to do basic tuneup and fluid change while it was in there which he agreed to do, well a few hundred miles or more later and my truck is having issues lights come on , start losing power , come to find the oil was nearly empty , no leaks , just nobody did any change on it at the shop, now he ignores me and won’t even refund me for the power steering which is useless to me . Can’t pass smog paid my registration and insurance but couldn’t get tags because the truck won’t pass smog now because of this. Worst experience from a mechanic ever.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m sorry to hear about the difficulties you’ve been experiencing with your truck. I want to clarify what our shop did during your visit so readers have an accurate understanding of the work performed.

You came in for a power steering failure, and our inspection found the power steering pump pulley had separated from the pump shaft and the drive belt was coming apart. We replaced the power steering pump assembly, installed a new pulley, replaced the drive belt, refilled the system, and verified the repair with a road test. The power steering system operated correctly when the vehicle left our shop, and we’re glad to hear you noticed that improvement.

Regarding the additional services you mentioned in your review: We were not authorized to perform an oil change, tune‑up, or full fluid service during your visit, and those services were not billed, not listed, and not included on your repair order. We never charge for work we don’t perform, and we never assume permission to add services without the customer’s approval.

We understand how frustrating mechanical issues can be, especially when they happen later on and away from home. However, the concerns you’re experiencing now are unrelated to the power steering repair we completed. We stand behind the work we performed, and the repair order reflects exactly what was authorized and completed.
