Our goal is to provide the most accurate picture of a business's online reputation. To provide the most accurate picture, we use an automated algorithm to help us recommend reviews that are most valuable for visitors to our site. Reviews that are recommended may ultimately become "not recommended" and vice versa based on continued updates and learning from our algorithm. I brought my truck in because it was making a noise while driving. The tech told me it was the axle, so I paid to have it replaced. As soon as I picked it up—before I even left the shop—the same noise was still there. I let the guy drive my truck home and leave it overnight at the shop. He later said he heard the noise and thought it might be the hub, so they replaced that too. Still the same problem.
They ended up sending me to another mechanic in Decatur who just clamped something on the new axle—but the noise never went away. After spending over $900, the issue was never resolved. I had to go to a completely different mechanic to finally get it diagnosed.
The young man behind the counter was respectful and did try to help, so this isn’t about him personally. But the bottom line is, they never fixed the problem and couldn’t figure it out.
