Rizo Lukolic was incredible to work with. He was extremely knowledgeable on every vehicle we looked at, he knew the vehicles inside and out. He was so professional and helpful. I can’t recommend him enough. I absolutely love my new car.

Went above and beyond
Alex was one of if not the best salesman we have had over the years. So very very helpful and fantastic customer relations. Really made us feel at home and answered all questions. Oh yes, a truly nice guy!!
I stopped to drive a new Hyundai Tucson. Had a year old Kia Seltos that I liked but didn't love and was toying with whether it made any sense to trade for a new car. Alex was low pressure, full of information, there was no 'my manager will talk with you' or 'deal is for today only'. It was as good as doing through internet and maybe better. Dealership seems to have lots of perks for new customers with maintenance (oil/tire rotations) provided for first 3 years too. A great experience
Alex was friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicles that we looked at. He found us the right car in a tough market to find cars. Very personable and always hustling.
Alex was able to answer all the questions we had and if he wasn’t sure he’d find the answer for us. He was able to get us in the vehicle we wanted the same day.
Honest, friendly, great experience overall.
This is the best Car Dealership!! In June 2011, I purchased my very first Hyundai and I had an Outstanding Salesperson. However, when I re-visited the dealership for my 2nd Hyundai purchase, that Salesperson was no longer there. So, I mistakenly thought I could receive the same Excellence at the Napleton Dealership closer to my home. Unfortunately, I was wrong. Consequently, I returned to St. Charles Hyundai in January 2022 and was fortunate enough to be greeted by the service manager Mike. As a woman and a senior citizen there is always that fear that you will be taken advantage of and treated like a 2nd class citizen. However, from the moment we spoke, I suspected I had nothing to worry about. I was so right. Mike steered me in the direction of Courtney and my day got better and better. Not only was he knowledgeable about the specifics of the car I was interested in, he was also professional, patient, and courteous. In addition, he was extremely computer literate. Consequently, several glitches that would have made my auto purchase stressful and frustrating were completely avoided. He walked me through every concern I had about my new car purchase, he set up my blue link account and transferred all of my programmed driving and comfort features from my old Hyundai to my new Hyundai. He also made sure that my car was cleaned inside and out prior to my departure. It was such a pleasant car buying experience. In addition, I love, love, love my new car!!
I can not say enough positive things about my experience with Alex and St. Charles Hyundai.
After having a rather frustrating two weeks trying to find a Kona and get into a dealership in time (we had a couple dealerships sell our car that was promised to us)- we finally found the most perfect car with a wonderful customer service experience to back it up.
Alex made us feel comfortable and gave us his undivided attention the entire process. He was upfront and honest about all aspects of acquiring a new 2022 Kona. We felt that out time was respected and we were given all of the information we would need to make our decision effortless. He was wonderful about communicating all of the nuances as well as available features. We knew exactly what Model and package (SEL with convenience) that we wanted and he never tried to upsell or sway us. He seem earnestly excited to do his job and provide us with a car and service far above our expectations. We have been talking about the experience with everyone we know. And although up until now I have only ever owned Nissan- I will forever be loyal to this dealership and Hyundai. Thank you so much to Alex and the Team at St. Charles Hyundai!
Steven Kolisch was a great salesman and really took care of me, as did the manager and the finance team. Very happy with my experience and I would happily recommend them to anyone else looking for a car.
Milton was an excellent salesperson but not well supported by the dealership

Good salesman poor dealership
My experience with St Charles Hyundia was that Milton was an excellent salesperson surrounded by an incompetent structure. Buying a car should be a simple process. Four hours later I finally was able to drive away. Now everyone knows that there is a shortage of personal, but that does not relieve the dealerships responsibilities to its customers.

Roger, Thank you for speaking with me and understanding the circumstance for the survey being about Milton.
Updated review of sales experience with Ben Macormic
I have a review of St. Charles Hyundai that I published after I picked up a car from them. This post is a little atypical of what I usually publish, but I wanted to share a little bit about them because of the work they have put in, and give credit where credit is due.
For those who aren't aware, very often, there are monetary incentives that comes with getting good reviews (usually 5 stars) for auto companies. In this time, it's also extremely competitive, and at the time I was hunting around, I was scouring all over the Midwest looking for a dealer that could get me a decent deal on the car we were looking for.
With the help of some contacts, I was pointed towards St. Charles Hyundai in MO. They had the vehicle I wanted without charging any Market Adjustment Prices. Unfortunately, the thing that kind of made the experience less than perfect for me was the way they discussed their policy of only financing through HMFUSA. They didn't lie and they were honest about things, but the way they presented it also made it seem more "due to the pandemic" than what I discovered later, which was that they were always fairly high pressure in terms of pushing this sort of financing, but they decided to make it mandatory in order to stay profitable in a time of extreme stock shortage. Understandable, but not really explained well enough for my tastes.
Additionally, when I was working with them, I didn't find that I was especially pleased with the way that we went through the paperwork and the way a few things were done, but overall, it was a fairly painless process and went well. I've just gone through some other dealers for other purchases, so I can compare and know that it wasn't as good as it could have been.
So, I gave them a 4-star rating instead of a 5-star rating. Well, obviously, they are highly incentivized to get that 5-star rating, and two different sales follow-ups occurred in which they tried to understand why they got that 4-star rating and if there was anything that could be done to "rescore" the rating to a higher one. Initially, there didn't seem like much could be done, as I really didn't have any true issue with their business dealings – I just would have liked a little better sales process.
However, after two different people worked really hard to try to understand what they could do and let me express to them what could be improved, I felt like they had really done quite a lot of work on the whole to try to work with me on "improving" on even that small reduction in the experience. They finally figured out something that they could do to compensate me for a change in review. I decided more to change my review based on the amount of their follow up than anything else, but I greatly appreciate the work they were doing to try to improve their image by actually offering something up. Some people might not appreciate that, but I feel it's at least a decent way of handling things and pretty good business.
What clinched the deal, though, is that it turns out I can't change my rating because of the time limits, which means they essentially missed out (or would have to find some other way of messing with the system). Still, they followed up with what they offered to me, and I have to say, they probably didn't have to do that. However, showing good faith and honoring that commitment, I feel that they deserve some public acknowledgment for doing that, and so I'm writing this post to give them props on honest dealings and real effort to improve my overall experience. I couldn't change my rating, but I hope that this will at least acknowledge that I now consider their dealings with me 5-star.
