NEVER AGAIN, Estimator wouldnt even look me in the eye.
I recently came in for a state Inspection. I was told that the right front marker bulb was extinguished and that was all. I said replace it. The technician removed 1 screw on the outside of the car and the lens slides out in his hands. The bulb is replace and the lens and the screw is re-installed. At most, 2 minutes of work. I wouldnt have minded paying 10 dollars but when i received my bill The business charged me $35. I worked on Mercedes for 20 years @ a dealership and we NEVER charged for a simple bulb replacement. We only charged a half hour labor charge if we had to do some diagnosis. I questioned your estimator about the cost and he just kept his head down and wouldnt even look at me. This is the second time a 10 dollar simple fix is way over charged. I WILL be driving back to my mechanics in Yortown. I was trying your company and I know gas is expensive but it wont cost me $35.00 at Regans(Western Auto) in Yorktown. I may even go to the dealer because they just told me a RF marker light bulb replacement during a state Inspection is free of charge. Then I would tip the technician $10.
