TLDR: Memorial week(short) I was taking PTO in IN after a long drive. Needed it back by Sunday for my drive back. Got the keys to The Auto Center after speaking with Greg and Scott, the manager, took care of it same day of giving the estimate. Picked up my car and working great so far Thur with plenty of time to spare until the weekend trip back.
-Thanks guys.
Full review going into the details of exactly how they took care of me here:
On I-465 my old 96 Grand Marquis had its driver ball joint give out while on the interstate.
1st blessing was my car taking care of me getting me right to my destination before giving out, 2nd blessing was having enough control with my front left wheel being useless to still go from the fast lane to the emergency lane. 3rd blessing was breaking down near the exit that the closest auto center was The Auto Center for the tow to drop it off there.
I dropped my car off Friday before memorial weekend at 6 so the shop was already closed. Worried about the short week all weekend, I called Tuesday when they opened and explained what happened. I didn't leave the keys with the car like a smart person would and brought it late Wednesday before closing.
They fixed a list of several things I needed to get done anyway for a fair price and said they could get it done same day, Thursday. Okay? Really? They did.
Verdicts out on the long haul, but so far she's running great and I feel taken care of considering how quickly they were able to get all of that work done. Now I can enjoy the rest of my time and the ride back this coming weekend.
Thanks again Scott, and the mechanics I spoke with. It was a pleasure.
