Fixing Gas Leak
A little history, but important to story.
In March, my Hyundai motor was replaced free of charge because of a recall. The offer was only good at the Hyundai dealership. I prefer local mechanics.
In July the car developed a horrific gas smell.
I called my mechanic that I have been going to since I was 16 (am now 68) and another recommended mechanic and they could not take me immediately. But, because of the smell the car was dangerous to drive. I told both companies I had a brand new engine, since it seemed important to the problem.
Ok fast forward
I called Topham, that could take me right away, and they were the only people that said, “Check with Hyundai to make sure it is not under warranty. We do not want to mess that up.” Good point
It ended up being a fuel line. Did Hyundai cause it when they replaced the engine? Hard to know since it was 4 mo.
There was a chance I needed a fuel pump. But, Topham ruled that out. I was however, prepared to pay for it. But, because of their honesty, I did not have to

In conclusion, they were honest, up front about charges, and extremely insightful about the engine warranty.
I highly recommend them and will use in the future.

You're in good hands
I was able to get my appointment at a time that was convenient for me, and they got to work promptly with the understanding I had to wait for the car (just an oil change). Over many years they have always been professional, knowledgeable and transparent.
