I recently purchased a used vehicle from Victory Chevrolet and my experience, unfortunately, was marred by a significant issue: a faulty battery.
The battery was dead, requiring a jump start before I could even leave the lot. While I understand used cars can have unexpected problems, I would have expected a dealership to ensure the vehicle was in a roadworthy condition before selling it.
The dealership simply dismissed it as a minor inconvenience. However, two weeks later, the battery died completely and needed to be replaced. The salesman tried to blame me for the dead battery-victim shaming.
I was subjected to a series of run-arounds and poor customer service. My calls went unanswered, and I was given conflicting information. It became clear that the dealership had no intention of addressing my concerns.
They failed to identify and address a critical issue before selling the vehicle, leaving me to deal with the inconvenience and expense of a faulty battery. I would strongly advise potential buyers to be mindful or possibly seek alternative dealership that treats you fairly & makes customer satisfaction a PRIORITY.
