Where do I begin. I first came to VO Speed Shop a couple years ago when Les Schwab did a less than poor job on my Ford F-150. I did a 3-4 inch lift, 35 inch tires and new wheels. They installed control arms for a 2 inch lift and my truck rode hard, was grinding my tie rods on the inside of my new wheels, and the control arms were pointed towards the ground, rubbing on my coils. This was the first time ever lifting a truck and I wish I knew better…thought this was normal…even went back and they said it will flatten out over time.
Well, if you know trucks and how to appropriately install parts, lift trucks the right way, then you know this isn’t right.
Now to the good stuff. Dustin at VP Speed Shop is the most honest and respectable person I have ever dealt with when it comes to anything automotive. He went above and beyond, not once, but 3 times, spending more than an hour each time walking me through a new lift kit and building something in my price range. He said multiple times ‘I want you to be happy with it, and if you’re not, we will make it happen’. He did just that. He built a kit from multiple vendors and brands that I am so happy with. He didn’t force anything on me, yet gave me many options. My truck rides like new, has compression on the road, and sits beautifully.
