Classic bait and switch. Fake price. Illegal Tactics. STAY AWAY!
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! We traveled quite a distance to check out a 2022 Subaru Forester Wilderness that was advertised at $24,799 and as a Black Friday deal at Westcoast Auto Sales. There was also an advertised 'manager's special' price as well. We took the vehicle out for a test drive and we liked it. We wanted to strike a deal. We asked what the Manager's Special price was. We were told the price is what is advertised, no Manager's Special price. Ok, not a deal breaker. Then the salesman tells us the advertised price is not really the price of the car. It's actually $4400 more (!) due to Westcoast Auto Sales installing GPS, Anti-Theft, and Interior-Exterior protection packages. We said we didn't want those items, can you please remove them? They said no, they are part of the car now and must be paid for in addition to the advertised price. This was a classic bait and switch. I don't know if what they did is a legal tactic, but I would tell anyone considering purchasing a car from these scammers to take their business elsewhere.
