You told me what I already know I paid you to figure out what was wrong and you couldn’t tell me. Just the cat went out which I already knew. And then you contradict your knowledge multiple times. Saying I’ve never seen this is 40 years and then saying well you need to drive more conservative. Cats don’t go out even if you run them hard. And then you get the engine wrong which makes me question if you even properly looked at it. Like I wouldn’t even be that mad but you guys still charged me $165. I’d appreciate the money back at minimum.

We are disappointed to receive a 1-star review, especially given the circumstances of your visit.

Your 2021 Ford Mustang with 39,450 miles was brought to us for diagnosis of a catalytic converter concern. As authorized, we performed a complete diagnostic inspection, testing and verifying all fuel control systems, emissions-related components, and other systems that could contribute to an early catalytic converter failure. Our testing confirmed that all systems were operating within manufacturer specifications. We also verified that the engine was not consuming excessive oil and found no external cause for the converter failure.

Based on our findings, we accurately advised you that the catalytic converter itself had failed and that, given the age and mileage of your vehicle, this repair falls under Ford's 8-year/80,000-mile federal emissions warranty. We further advised that the dealer should replace the converter at no cost to you.

The diagnostic fee covered the time, equipment, and expertise required to properly test the vehicle and determine the cause of the concern. The information we provided was accurate and ultimately saved you from paying for a catalytic converter replacement that should be covered under warranty.

While we respect your right to share your opinion, we believe this review does not fairly reflect the service provided. We performed the requested diagnosis, identified the failed component, verified there were no underlying issues causing the failure, and directed you to the appropriate warranty solution that should result in a no-cost repair.
