My father and I have never had any issues with Precision Auto Care. They always had good customer ser
vice and the work they do was incredible. But recently on April 21st 2026, I took my vehicle in for some issues in my vehicle's gear shifting. The Service Manager said to me that they have availability that day to do a diagnosis on the transmission. I said, great and thank them for taking my vehicle in for a diagnosis check on the transmission. They called me back later that afternoon and told me that indeed I will need a new transmission and its possible to work within the warranty guarantees that I have on my vehicle. The Warranty company approved for the repairs with little out of pocket expense. Before I got off the phone with the Service Manager, he told me that it will take about 2-3 days to receive the transmission and a day to install the unit, and he said the vehicle will be ready on Thursday, April 30th 2026, for pickup but I informed him that I'll just come in the following day to pick it up. The following next week, I showed up ready to pick up my vehicle and the Service Manager responded to me and told me that its not here. I was befuddled. I asked him, is it here? He looked through the service tags and nearly snarled at me and said that it wasn't ready. Again, a little befuddled and confused, I asked him, if there's any else wrong with the vehicle? He said, No! He didn't give me a time or a day when it would be complete and when my vehicle would be ready for pickup. It seemed like the Service Manager was appalled that I would even show up expecting to pickup my vehicle, based on his owned words that my vehicle would be ready for pickup that Thursday, April 30th for pickup. So, I turned and left, feeling a little disappointed. However, the Service Manager called me the following week and said my vehicle was ready for pickup and he expressed to me that they fixed my exhaust pipe to my vehicle as well for the inconvenience as a sign of goodwill. This is by far a good ending of what seems to a bad situation. Great Job Precision!
