Fun to drive / great looking sedan

I love driving the car. It looks great, and it is hard to find a nice sedan these days. Great accelerations and breaks. It could be perfect, but there are some annoying "safety" settings that cannot be deactivated, like "check your back seats" alarm every time you turn off the car. It might look like nothing on first, but it is annoying.

Great car, too bad Genesis is abandoning it

I had a 2021 G70, traded it for this '25. Genesis took away features found on the '21 to water down the '25 model. And now they are abandoning it. Genesis wants us to all have massive land whale cars or SUVs, and pushing EVs. So this is the last Genesis I will own. I'd prefer something even smaller and sportier than the G70, but the G70 is the smallest car they have. I don't want anything to do with an SUV, not do I want a larger sedan. And I have an EV for errands and daily around the town driving. Genesis doesn't want customers like me.

Great Car.

I love how it drives. Small cuts on side of exterior that look like scratches. Not sure if that is in the exterior design or a bought a defective vehicle.

Not the best miles per gallon but a great value

The G70 Sport Prestige has an abundance of safety features included. The car handles very well and has an excellent engine and transmission. If miles per gallon and/or back seat space is not a priority, then this car is perfect!

Good car not great

Nice car but some features are not right. The absolutely annoying notification of “ consider taking a coffee break “ is absolutely unacceptable. It does not enhance safety and is distracting when circumstances are not of the status to initiate the notification. I am no longer considering another Genesis purchase. Genesis refuses to defend the need for this notification.?

Genesis G70 review

This is a wonderful car apart from a couple of issues. Firstly, the rear seats are only suitable for children or small adults. Secondly, the gear change lever has no park position. You need to push a separate button to put the car into park. This is an incredibly stupid feature. After years of driving one's instinct is to push the change lever fully forward for park. In the G70 this puts the car into reverse. Even after a year of driving the car I find myself traveling backwards when I assume the car is in park.

It’s a Genesis. Therefore, no worries

I’ve never had any issues with a Hyundai or Genesis except minor ones that were easily fixed. Very reliable, very well made. After a recent vacation where I drove a rental car, I came home and immediately noted how much better the G70 was in comfort, quality, and features - more than I had realized before. You’ll have to figure out where all the infotainment controls are but that seems to be a modern fact of life. Wonderful sound system.
