My first Genesis

Having owned 11 Lexus vehicles because of quality and service, I was apprehensive about making a change. After three months of ownership, I can now say that I made the correct decision and am quite pleased with the Genesis.

very pleased except use of various buttons and dials not always clear. Manual not well indexed. Sometimes when I query ChatGPT about a function its response is much clearer than the manual.

The feature that says "consider taking a break" is the most annoying thing in the world. Makes me want to get rid of the car. It needs to have an option to permanently disable it!!

An Excellent Car

I love my car. It is quiet, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. I previously owned a 2023 G90 which I traded in for a 2024 G90 and now I upgraded to the current model year. I also owned vintage G90s before the stylistic update in 2023. I think it's the best luxury car for the money in the market. To get the same level of luxury in a Mercedes Benz or BMW you have to spend tens of thousands of dollars more. I've had the 2026 since March of 2026 and have 2100 miles on it. It drives perfectly with no issues. My wife loves the massaging seats. She always turns that on when she drives in the car. Passengers routinely compliment the car for its comfort and roominess.

Great car. However the asinine “take a break” warning is the worst alert system I have ever seen. So bad that I would never buy or recommend Genesis again if it is not disabled
