Owning and driving this car puts a huge smile on my face.

There are so many things to love about my car, a 2023 GV60 Performance. It's not 100% perfect, but it's close. It drives so smoothly and quietly that it's unlike any car I've ever been in. It's crazy fast which comes in handy on occasion. It's rare to see them on the road, but it's always a joy to talk with other owners and share our fondness of the car.

Engineering(w/exceptions--key fob & low voltage system)is outstanding.

The key fob needs to incorporate the physical key--as every other brand I have seen does! The multiple recalls to fix the low-voltage control system has been a ROYAL PAIN!!!

Speedy and Stylish

I’m happy with the speed, handling and design. Overall a good car. However, had a few recalls and battery issues that ended up being covered under warranty, but there was resistance by the dealer and/or Genesis to cover what was clearly a defect in the battery system.

An absolute joy, but…

I chose the GV60 after seeing at a car show heavily tipped towards EVs. It was the most elegant, luxuriously equipped, and comfortable of the models I reviewed - and it does not try to borrow techy styling cues. I still love to drive it, and it remains an exceptionally low barrier to my EV adoption.

Stylish and zippy

I love the appearance and comfort of the GV60. The screens are beautiful and customizable. Lots of fun features and great highway drive assist. As it is the first all electric Genesis, there are some kinks to work out. The amount of recalls and updates in the first year were painful. The range is not quite what I expected. The service and availability at dealerships has been less than desirable (Hyundai only). Visibility isn’t great, especially if the cameras are wet or dirty. Nowhere to put the front plate that keeps falling off. Overall, I do love the car though!

Feature packed and solid build quality

I've owned my GV60 for 2 years now and I've had very little issues with the car. There are a lot of useful features inside and the charging experience has been great, in no small part due to the fast charging capability of the car. The one major thing I wish was that the range was higher, which a simple change could help by making the standard vehicle with 18" wheels, advanced with 19" wheels, and performance with 20" wheels (1" smaller than the current wheel options).

Second time

I hoped to receive comments from Genesis about having only one dealer to sell and service San Diego County's 3,400,000 population??? It takes a long time to get an appointment there and loaner cars are generally not available.

Genesis GV60 Advanced 2023

I have really enjoyed my GV60 since June 2023! I have loved the luxury comforts , though I do have to mention the firm ride across every road except the smooth new asphalt . I suppose the recommended 36psi on Michelin touring tires are to blame for the rough road and the 45 width for the squealing through spirited curves.
