Probably the most all-around great car I’ve ever driven.

Amazingly well built car in all facets; exterior paint is top notch and much more resilient than many; haven’t had a single issue with the drivetrain; reliability is outstanding. Technology like lane assist and cruise control are not prone to error and highly accurate. Cameras are in great locations, onboard sensors have never failed. Regenerative braking is outstanding, haven’t driven another electric that has this amount of control. Only real-world complaint I could ever muster is that range is not as outstanding as I would hope. Looking forward to new battery innovations and efficiencies in the drivetrain to help with that in later generations. This is a fantastic vehicle and I’ll likely be getting another later down the road.

GV60 (2023) Review

This is by far the best car I have had the pleasure of owning/leasing. It is a wonderful driving experience, and I constantly get compliments from others regarding how beautiful and well appointed the car is. I have no negative comments, except that I look forward to the day when the vehicle range will improve as EV batteries improve.

Very good evening with some quirks

I enjoy the vehicle quite a bit. There are some quirks and some enhancements that would be appreciated. I cannot upload my contacts from my phone. It is a pixel 7 pro. Apparently there is no interface to do this Android Auto does not allow using satellite radio and map together. When I close the trunk, the driver's door will not unlock without the pressing the key fob button. Auto walkaway locking would be nice. A spare tire would be nice The frunk is small. The carpet in the trunk does not fit well and the attachments are poor. The nav system is not great. The voice prompts and getting the correct address are fair . Android Auto is much better. The user interface is excellent and I would rather use it, but the info is only fair. The safety features are very good. The console cup holders should have a door cover to improve the appearance.

The Genesis GV60 has been challenging for me to own.

I expected better reliable from the GV60. The 12V battery and charging issues have changed my outlook on Genesis. The software and vehicle updates have been slower than compared to Rivan, Tesla, and GM. Please listen to your customers and starting improving the route planning software your vehicles. It's unacceptable to not have a button to activate battery precondition.

Great Car - Poor Service

The car itself is amazing. Very comfortable. Great audio system. Very comfortable. Excellent controls. Interior styling is impeccable. High quality interior materials. Very well put together, no squeaks or rattles. Amazing power and very fun to drive. It is my car of choice for long drives and daily commutes. However, Genesis service has been HORRIBLE. First most Genesis dealers were closed. Now there is only one in all of San Diego, for four million people! And that dealer is old and decrepit. Facilities are terrible. Wait times to get service done can be over one month! That is not acceptable. In addition we were told about the 'Genesis Concierge Service' at time of sale. Never happens! They refuse to do Concierge outside of ten miles from the dealer (again YOU CLOSED MOST DEALERS so where are we to go?) and then have NO LOANER CARS! At Porsche and BMW dealers we always could make same week appointments and they always had loaner cars available. If Genesis is trying to compete with the Big Boys their service has a long way to go. But your cars are fantastic!

A wonderful vehicle!

Excellent fit and finish throughout the car. Beautiful exterior design. Exceptionally comfortable and quiet yet fast and sporty ride. Screen and controls are well placed and convenient. A very nice sound system. Safety and screen view features are great. Love the open floor space under the center console and the unusual pull out drawer glove box. Areas for improvement include the limited turning radius and of course the battery range which should be improved to between 4 and 500 miles.

Love almost everything about the vehicle.

The exterior design is classy, unique and one of the best designs of any car on the road. We acquired the Performance model which has met our objective of superior interior design including upholstery, location of and materials used for the controls (I appreciate not having to use the screen to activate various controls), that there is very little plastic on the interior. The seats and related features are excellent. One of the standout features of the interior is the fact that the center console is open underneath which is particularly useful for my wife to store her handbag or anything else. I strongly advise that you carry that feature forward in all of your electric vehicles. The current model of the electric GV70 is solid underneath the console and should be changed for the next year. The rear storage space is very good and sufficient for a small SUV. The safe driving features, overhead camera view, sound deadening features and auto adjustable suspension features are amazing. Every time we take a pleasure ride my wife comments that we feel like we are in our own cocoon. There are only two key areas that need to be corrected for future years. The turning radius is quite limited requiring extra turns in tight spots. My wife's Lexus RX350 has a much tighter turning radius. Of course like most EV owners, I would like to have a battery range of between 400 and 500 miles. Also you have a problem with the limited number of dealerships in the San Francisco Bay Area. Had to go to Manly Hyundai of Santa Rosa to purchase and maintain the car. Then Manly suddenly stopped selling and servicing Genesis EVs. Customers were not advised and we had to scramble to find a new dealership in Dublin. I live in Richmond and the Hyundai dealership there is not authorized to maintain Genesis EVs. I strongly request that you set up a dealership near auto row in San Rafael. I love the car and feel very proud to have selected it for my first new car in 17 years.

Almost perfect ride!

Love this car. Just elegant and sporty enough. Wonderful controls and displays. Super fast and responsive. Comfortable and quiet. 16,000 miles and not a single issue. This car would be perfect with 3 improvements...one hard to achieve and several are so easy, I'm surprised and disappointed that they are not included in this model. First easy fix: The rear view mirror should be on camera and not the 100 year old traditional mirror standard. Second easy fix...when the navigator is engaged, the car should calculate what your battery power will be at the conclusion of the trip. I'm constantly guessing and doing the math in my head! Why do Teslas have this and Genesis does not? Third easy fix: include apple car play! Fourth easy fix: why offer light color carpeting at all?? every car should have a dark carpet for obvious reasons. Fifth easy fix: the center arm console should be able to lift all the way up. The space underneath is so useful but so hard to access. Last easy fix: the power "regeneration" feature should tell you how much batter power is regenerated with each drive. Now on to the hard fix...battery range. I get somewhere between 265 and 295. These cars should have a minimum 400 mile range yet knowing that a 500 mile Lucid range costs 100k, Genesis would not be motivated to invest in further development knowing a 60k customer probably won't spend 100k and move to Lucid juts for 150-200 miles on range.

Great car with a few minor drawbacks

The GV60 if fast and comfortable, quiet and smooth. It comes loaded with features like lane keep, V2L, HUD, cooled seat, wireless connectivity etc. all standard. I wish the range was better, the trunk was larger, and that it’d corner better. Visibility over the hood isn’t great either. I’ve had some sw issues but most are resolved. Android Auto is beautifully integrated, but the microphone doesn’t always work.

Best vehicle I’ve ever

I’ve been driving since 1961, every type vehicle from Austin Healey, Harley Davidson and Tractor Trailers. My 1995 S class Mercedes had 14,000 miles on it in 2018 when totaled by one of my employees it was a great car, still Love my GV60 more. My Genesis is the best car I’ve ever owned.
