Car Talks and Beeps and Chirps Too Much

This is the noisiest vehicle I have every driven. It talks unnecessarily, beeps constantly, and chirps to distraction. All of this noise and distraction might be helpful to someone who just got their driver's license and needs to be beeped and warned about every little thing. It is awful and distracting to me. When I pull into my garage at home, for example, it beeps the whole time I'm parking because there's another car in the garage and it wants to warn me of this. Also, once in the garage, I put down my window. When I exit the car, it tells me a window is open. When I leave my garage it beeps from the time I put it in gear until I'm out of the garage because it's trying to warn me that I'm close to the other parked car. On the other hand, when I want to listen to an incoming text message, it tells me I can't do that while driving!!

I enjoy the car and how it drives but it has major electrical issues

I've had the car for about 3 months and I like everything about the car but there is something wrong with the electrical engineering causing the control panel to drain the 12v battery multiple times. The car has been in for repair for almost a month and they still haven't told me when it will be fixed.

Love it

Customer service was a hassle in the beginning especially because I had to get a new battery this first week I got the brand new car! It was horrible. I also dislike how I was part of the group who isn’t getting a complimentary Tesla adapter. Seems unfair. Charging sucks because I have to wait in long lines sometimes and there’s not a lot of convenient places they’re spread out

my vehicle experience has been subpar for a “luxury” vehicle

The operating system in which the car has integrated is outdated difficult to use and not up to standards of a 2025 luxury vehicle. The Genesis app is also very outdated and has a lot of useless features, which do not make the experience any more luxurious

A+ car, B- tech

My Genesis GV60 is the inverse of my Tesla Model 3: The body is solid, the ride is smooth, it is whisper quiet and it has a solid physical driver interface. But the app and voice operation are laggy and lacking in the most obvious features. It accelerates like a rocket and corners like a sports car. But why do I have to touch the iPedal every time I start the car? I *always* use it; it should default. The app tells me a window is open... but won't close it. "Dog Mode" is a 5-step procedure I had to research on Reddit. (Remote a/c stays on for barely 10 minutes.) Some things you can't fix remotely (storage space is less than the smaller Model 3, trickle charger is slow), but software you can change. Please do.

Great EV with modern features, large screens, and CarPlay integration

I've greatly enjoyed driving my 2025 GV60 and with the latest update, the wireless CarPlay integration with both screens and the HUD has been glorious. That update also seems to have fixed the association with fingerprints/facial recognition and which driver profile is selected, which s a great update.

A good but quirky EV

I like many features such as comfortable ride, above average range and safety features. Less impressive are some of the quirky electronic features such as need to manually lock the doors by touch when you leave the car, need to have the large key fob with you to operate the car even though it hase eye and fingerprint detection, need to purchase the most expensive least range version to get complete keyless features, non- intuitive charging set up , and why can’t you do this from the car rather than always using the App, etc. Blind spot detection is nice in the mirrors but substandard in the displays ( not nearly as good as Tesla).

Disappointed

I loved my vehicle when I first got it but within a few months it needed a whole battery replacement. There are none in the United States at this time so my car will not be drivable for up to several months.

solid car; tech lacking

wireless car play didn't work doors dont lock when leaving fingerprint/face unlock is irrelevant- serves no purpose no way to set on maximum regerative breaking; need to reset every time you get in the car EV charging works well, car handles well, good display

Very nice, comfortable car. Decent range, lots of features

Good alternative coming from a Tesla. Many good features, very ice to drive. All the problems are in the software having to do with entry/exit and driving modes. Hopefully these will get fixes with OTA updates.

The most refined Genesis

Everything about this GV60 is better than on 2 previous Genesis vehicles I have owned. The steering is more precise, the acceleration is rapid and super smooth and responsive, the quietness of the cabin is serene. The air conditioning is the quietest ever and can cool the cabin quickly at 105 degrees with the fan set at 3.

One really nice car

The GV60 is perhaps the nicest car I’ve ever owned. It’s very comfortable and quiet. The safety features are outstanding. Acceleration and handling are also first-rate. While the tech package is impressive, Apple CarPlay integration could be better. And the range could stand to be improved too. As long as you not on a road trip, however, the range is more than adequate. All in all, a fine vehicle
