First Time Genesis Owner

I couldn’t be happier with my new Genesis GV80 Coupe. From the moment I got behind the wheel, the drive feel stood out—smooth, confident, and genuinely fun to drive. It strikes that rare balance between luxury comfort and engaging performance. The technology deserves special praise. Everything is thoughtfully designed, intuitive, and easy to understand without needing a PhD in infotainment systems. Features feel purposeful, not overwhelming, and they actually enhance the driving experience instead of distracting from it. Communication and support from Genesis have also been excellent. From purchase through ownership, the experience has been seamless and professional, which goes a long way in building trust in a brand. Overall, the GV80 Coupe has completely changed my perception of Genesis—in the best way possible. It delivers on luxury, performance, and customer experience, and it’s a vehicle I look forward to driving every time. Genesis has officially earned a spot on my shortlist going forward.

Blown Away There Is No Spare Tire

I like everything about the car except the fact that it doesn't have a spare tire. I found this out when I needed a spare tire. And the tire on the car is a hard to find tire. Not pleased

things to improve

lots of things to like.. prefer headlights on my lightning as they move with turns and react better for auto dimming.. genesis should review.. should also put a v8 with turbo and not v6, imo. should also have passive locking when walking away and not have to lock with fob or handle especially for a 90k vehicle.. lots lof things i have on my corvette and ford lightning have things this does not.. lightning has built in alexa and truck cost 70k in 2024..gv90 black edition is a 26 model.. daytime dash is white navigation and should be adjustable scheme..nighttime maps is not even close to android auto google map.. need to get these things corrected.. would be ok for a 40k hyundai not a 90k genesis

Good but not complete

Lots of luxury features, some better executed than others. Some missing altogether. Customization options of the instrument cluster is disappointing. The color choices are ok but there are better executions from your competition. Voice controls are really sub-par. Limited functions controlled. Limited commands. Again, sub-par compared to your competition. Some functions limited to the driver only may be penny wise but ultimately not worthy of a $90K vehicle. Other functions like message, are all but useless given the nature of control access.

Car is great, electronics are glitchy

Very glitchy electronics. When I autostart my car, than later hit "Auto" on the temp control, it turns off the controls. My navigation pixals at times are spotty. The volume control gets stuck on "navigation" when I'm trying to turn down my radio. The car itself is great. The seats are very comfortable. The heating system could be better balanced.

Loved it! Great design and fantastic amenities for the price. Looks so much better than the other luxury SUV "coupes"!!Great performance and only average fuel economy. Best warranty in the business. Absolutely well done!!
