2023 Elantra Experience

This car has been flawless for 44000 miles. Not one issue and never a problem. Gas mileage is always better than advertised. The only issue was getting the free oil changes promised for the first 30k miles. No dealear ever had time to do it so I gave up.

Airbags didn’t deploy after a bad crash

I got into a tbone accident and my car was a total loss and the airbags didn’t deploy at the speed of the accident.

My second Elantra.

My Hyundai journey started in 2016 with a SE Elantra and I went right away to the 2023 Model. I love it. Zippy, sporty, stylish and reliable. Keep up the good work on the vehicles but be aware of improving longevity in the engines with reviews and statements about oil consumption at an early mileage. No major issues with mine and I plan to keep it that way.

I’ve enjoyed the car so far. Compared to similarly priced vehicles the tech on Elantra is nice. A lot of the interior is plastic and makes noise an easily moves.

Great sporty value

I appreciate the just right size, fuel economy, sporty exhaust, easy to use controls, and great outward visibility. I do wish the car had a limited slip differential, as the car spins 1 of 2 wheels and struggles to put down power reducing the fun factor. I feel this is a significant oversight, but not a deal breaker. I appreciate the car has a DCT and not a CVT as I share this car with drivers who cannot drive a manual. The lack of any power or charging points in the back seat is disappointing, but I see this has been remedied in the newer models. Another really cheap move is the headlights: the running lights are LED but the other lights are halogen. My car looks like someone put aftermarket LED lights on it as they don’t match!
