Happy with the car

The car handles well. It drives smoothly. My coworker liked it so much, she bought the 2024 model! The trunk space is huge. I love everything else about the car - the lock/unlock button on the car handle (although have it on all doors would be even better). The seat adjustment availability for the driver is good. The aircon is powerful. Mileage is wonderful. I keep my drive mode in smart and it does wonders even for city driving. I like the brake hold, wireless charging, ample storage spaces. Controls are easy to see. Issues I have with the car is that there is not enough leg space in the back seat, the back seats cannot be partially released to lay flat - most vehicles have a 2-1 configuration for laying the seats flat. Wish all the floor mats had velcro or something to keep them in place.

Nice car, well worth the price

The Elantra is like a sports touring car of the 1970s: sporty looks, agile performance, but not a muscle car. Ours gets around 40 to 45 mpg.

It's a dependable car that gets better gas mileage than expected.

As it's lower to the ground I need something easier for me to get in and out of for my age, 70. So seats needed to have more padding.
