my daily driver

this is my 4 th Hyundai from the 1985 excel, eh! 2005 santa fe, 2013 Elantra, 2023 Elantra never a issue except the 1985 excel.

There are only two good features to this vehicle and they are the gas mileage and space. The cons are: Poor headlights, had to replace them immediately so I could actually see at night. Road noise is extremely loud. My horn quit working and had to be replaced (covered under warranty). Seats are very hard and uncomfortable. Heating system is non-existent. I can drop off my daughter and get to work before heating up and that is after remote starting for the full 10 minutes. My air conditioning condenser already needs replaced after 16 months of owning the vehicle. Some how it is not protected enough and something put a pin size hole in it. All freon leaked out, though there was no sign of it on the ground in the 3 spots I ever park and no smell. Of course the repair of that was not covered by the warranty and has a price tag of $1,700+ to repair.

Is a crappy car

Same as the title. Worst car I've ever owned 8 horns have went out.Headlights, when outdoor electronics are Going Out.You can't get an appointment for 3:00 to 4:00 weeks.Then they want to keep the car 2 to 3 weeks.Worst thing I have ever done.I've had a Hyundai's forever.This is the last one.It's crap you guys should take it back and give me another one

Elantra is a good car.

Hard to change out wiper blades due to not being able to lift wipers with hood closed. USB port is difficult to get to under the dash.

Little annoyances pile up

My car drives well and still looks sharp, but there are many little annoyances that are adding up and apparently not under warranty. The brake lights drop and hang by wires. The rear passenger windows open (plunge down) when no one is in the car to operate them. Etc.
