love my "Ella"

I love my "Ella" as I call my 2024 Elantra limited. It has alot of safety features that I love. The only thing I don't like is the fact it does not have a heated steering wheel and that you can lock the car door when its open-in case someone is chasing me. I find the navigation system to be too difficut for a person my age - 78 yo. Wish it would just have a simple GPS System.

I love the Elantra

My only complaints would be loud road noise and I can feel the bumps in the road very much. A wider tire would alleviate this. The tires inflate 2 or 3 psi while driving, sometimes 4 psi. Not sure if this is normal. Otherwise, it's a very smooth ride. Love the horsepower.

as a single person I found it a little tight with leg space.

handles well, but seating is tight for me. I am 5’3” and was glad i wasn’t taller.

First Brand New Car

I was out in a situation where I had no choice but to get a new car. I am very grateful that my dealer had recommended this car the day I came up to the dealership. With me being someone who has to drive at least 35 mins both ways to work, this car is very reliable on gas. It gives off a smooth ride while having all the extra protection features while driving. I had a 2008 Elantra before this that last up to 234k miles before it just wasn’t worth getting fixed on again so I’m glad that it has had many improvements since that model. I love that this model has a sport like look to it and bigger interior to it.

At the second year of use, the defects in material begin to be noticed

In the second year, the barilla that supports the hood begins to sound, something similar to the right rear shock absorber and the front headlights peel off over time

Options and features need fine tunin

This car performs very well has a lot of good pick up however, there are some features and options that I would wish that given this price range for this particular model would love to have included and thought out better for the man and the dash display of the driver it would be nice if they could just have a static image of the audio track playing/album with the time. This will be a nice feature to have in one of the display boxes for the driver.

Great Commuter car(if snakebit) but no wireless AA

First of all I love driving this car. Very smooth. It has most of the bells and whistles anyone would want. I do wish I could have gotten the convenience package as my model doesn't have heated seats or adaptive Cruise, but those would have just been a cherry on top. My car has been plagued by small mishaps that led to anesthetic repairs but had nothing to do with the car itself. My only real issue is that the Android auto functionality is kneecapped by some agreement hyundai has with TomTom about the built in navigation system that I never use. I was able to get a Dongle to get it to work but it shouldn't have been necessary. Also could use a couple more cup holders. Other than that I love this car.
