The Right Car for the Right Person
The 2025 Elantra has surprised me, for the price tag, features, and the IVT, it’s doing well so far! This is a car for people who aren’t super heavy on the gas, who want a leisurely drive most days, or a commuting car for someone, or even for a couple of newly weds who need a first car before they have more than 3 children. It has a mildly spacious cabin, large trunk space, all you’d ever need in a car. I’ve heard the bad reviews and seen the good reviews, even with the IVT/CVT, people who do the fluid changes report 140,000-160,000 miles on some 2023 models. Me personally, the car has ran great so far these first 3000 miles, but I haven’t been a lead foot, and I drive it easy most days so I have had 0 issues so far, as one would expect from a brand new vehicle. So as long as your driving habits and priorities for a vehicle aline with this car’s set up, it could be the perfect car for you.
