Okay

It's a long story. I did not choose to buy a new vehicle when I went to to click on this particular day. I went for an oil change. I told the sales person i couldn't have a car payment. She was very persistent and offered me this 2025 vehicle with no money down and no payments for 3 years. Like an idiot I accepted. I traded in my 2019 on the Elantra that was paid off!!!!

Adequate

Issues that need redesign: The positioning of the rear camera and lack of anything to give it cover means that in ANY ice or rain, it becomes near useless. The lack of the ability to turn off ALL safety features is insane, you made a semi self driving car, if I want them off, I should have that option, especially with your wonky cruise control following distance feature that has actually almost cause a couple of accidents. I also finding it interesting that as soon as the car turn one year old and after my second oil change, my avg gas mileage on my daily commute fell from consistently above 40 mpg to now not even reaching 40 mpg with literally nothing changing.

Overall good process

After a heavy rainy day a couple of months ago, my brand-new 2025 vehicle, which I purchased just about a year ago, began to develop a strong and unpleasant odor that smells like a dirty mop or wet rag. Despite keeping the car very clean and washing it every weekend, the smell has never gone away and continues to return every time I drive it. I took the vehicle to the dealership for inspection, and although they replaced the cabin air filter, they stated that everything else was fine and that there was nothing more they could do. However, the odor has persisted even after the filter change, which is especially frustrating given that the car is still new and the issue clearly began after the rainy day, suggesting that moisture may be trapped somewhere in the vehicle.

Good value for the money

A good value for the money hard to beat the warranty with the fuel economy the only two complaints that I have with the car is the road noise and that you can't lock the doors when exiting the car from the door.

2025 Elantra SEL Sport

Nice car. Good mileage for non-hybrid car. Only have the car for 1 year and have low mileage so I'm reluctant to give 5 stars at this time. I wish the car had heated side mirrors at this trim level which I would consider a safety feature for driving in the rain and cold weather. I do not like the hidden windshield wipers as it is hard to clean/remove dirt/leaves or snow. Other than these 2 issues, I'm happy with the car.
